Description
The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) seeks a small‑business vendor to supply and deliver approximately 47,408 tons of Type E flexible base material (crushed caliche‑based aggregate) for placement on levees across Hidalgo, Cameron, and Willacy Counties, Texas, as part of the Lower Rio Grande Flood Control Project. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis, with a firm‑fixed‑price, 120‑day performance period after award. Vendors must be SAM‑registered small businesses (≤150 employees), provide full material certifications, comply with Texas DOT testing standards, and adhere to strict safety, PPE, and waste‑disposal requirements.
