Ultrasonic Package for Buchi Mini Spray Dryer S-300

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is conducting market research to identify capable sources to provide an Ultrasonic Package for Buchi Mini Spray Dryer S-300. The package should be seamlessly integrated into the Buchi mini spray dryer S-300, adjustable for ultrasonic power, and capable of producing spray dried powders with ideal particle size for intranasal drug delivery. The scope of work includes delivering and installing the selected unit, providing factory acceptance test and validation documentation, and training support for six scientists. The contract will be a firm fixed price basis, with a period of performance from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027. • The ultrasonic nozzle should be capable of producing spray dried powders with ideal particle size for intranasal drug delivery (up to sixty microns). • The proposed device should include a one-year original equipment manufacturer (OEM) warranty. • The contractor shall deliver and install the selected unit no more than forty-five calendar days after award. • The contractor shall provide all costs in their proposed pricing, including system packaging, shipping, delivery, installation, maintenance, and maintenance/service.
