The Collingswood Board of Education is soliciting a law firm or individual attorney to serve as the district’s primary legal representative for the 2026‑2027 school year. The solicitor will provide full‑service legal counsel on all matters affecting the Board, act as the designated point‑of‑contact, and must possess deep knowledge of school‑district operations. The contract is a one‑year term (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027) and will be evaluated on qualifications, relevant experience, and fee proposal (50 % weighting). Respondents must submit a complete hard‑copy package by the deadline, including extensive certifications (AA, political contribution, insurance, non‑collusion, etc.) and meet insurance minimums of $1 M general liability and $2 M professional liability.
• Provide comprehensive legal services to the Board of Education for all district matters.
• Must staff at least three licensed professionals with ≥10 years public‑entity experience and assign a lead attorney in good standing.
• Evaluation: 25 pts qualifications, 25 pts experience/coordination, 50 pts fee proposal; submission required by April 16 2026 10:00 a.m. (hard copy).
• Mandatory attachments include AA questionnaire, NJ business registration, Chapter 271 political‑contribution disclosure, insurance certificates, and non‑collusion affidavit.
