FAA Market Survey /Request for Information / Capability Assessment: Procurement of Alternative Energy Systems Equipment (AESE) and Life Cycle Support

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a Market Survey to gather information about vendors' capabilities to provide Alternative Energy Systems Equipment (AESE) and life cycle support. The survey aims to determine current market conditions and vendor capabilities for a follow-on requirement to furnish AESE equipment, such as photovoltaic panels, battery energy storage systems, and associated cables/connectors. The requirement is anticipated to be a 10-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, consisting of a 2-year base period and four 2-year option periods. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing AESE equipment and life cycle support * Designing and installing AESE in grid-tied or off-grid configurations * Enhancing power reliability and resiliency to critical National Airspace Systems (NAS) * Providing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and/or Non-Developmental Item (NDI) solutions * Supporting the FAA's upcoming requirements for AESE integration and related support services for life cycle Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
