The City of Alexandria is seeking a vendor to supply approximately one million black plastic refuse bags over a twelve‑month period, delivered on a full‑truck‑load, as‑needed basis. The contract is a “as‑needed” supply agreement with strict packaging, pallet, and sample requirements, and no performance or bid bonds are required. The award will be based on price, compliance with detailed technical specifications, and AFEAT (minority/disadvantaged) participation.
• Estimated quantity: ~1,000,000 bags (≈ 20,000 rolls of 50 bags each).
• Technical specs include 31″ × 40″ flat or 17″ × 14″ × 40″ gusset size, minimum 124 lb per 1,000 bags, specific tensile, melt index, and drop‑resistance criteria.
