Rekey Project - IRS building Houston TX

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking capability statements from industry vendors to identify potential sources for a rekeying project at the Houston North IRS Building. The project involves replacing 41 door handles, locks, cores, and all door lock hardware, and providing a master key system. The contractor will be responsible for designing, furnishing, installing, and documenting the master key system, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. • The contractor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, and transportation required to complete the project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local safety, health, and environmental codes, rules, and regulations. • The contractor must provide a warranty for all work and equipment for at least 24 months. • The contractor must provide drawings and specifications required to complete the project successfully. • The contractor must conduct a final walk-through with representatives from IRS Facilities Management and Security Services to ensure completeness and accuracy before final invoice and payment.
