The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking to purchase six commercial zero-turn mowers that meet or exceed the specified characteristics of the Toro Z Master 5000 Series commercial zero-turn mower equipped with a 60-inch deck. The mowers must have a commercial-grade engine producing no less than 25 HP, a minimum of 850cc displacement, and a reinforced heavy-duty front bumper. The mowers will be used for heavy-duty mowing in dense, wet, or tall grass.
• The mowers must have a 60-inch width fabricated from high-strength steel for maximum structural integrity.
• The mowers must have an adjustable discharge baffle, allowing tool-free adjustment for changing turf conditions.
• The mowers must have a 1.0 - 5.5 inch cutting height range for consistent performance across facility zones.
• The mowers must utilize unitized pump-and-wheel-motor hydraulic architecture, eliminating external hoses to reduce leak points and ensure commercial-grade responsiveness.
• The mowers must include heavy-duty, maintenance-free cast aluminum or cast iron spindle housings with heavy-duty spindle shafts built to withstand continuous shock/impact loads from rough terrain, unexpected debris, and thick vegetation.
• The mowers must include digital voltage readout, fuel gauge, hour meter, and diagnostic indicators visible from the operator platform to assist non-mechanic operators with identifying issues before they become failures.
