Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a Sterile Compounding Compliance QA Program. The program aims to ensure compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling. The contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to perform facility and personnel-related assessments, certification, monitoring, sampling, and testing. The scope of work includes certification services, analysis of gloved fingertip and media fill testing, analysis of cleaning competency, and monthly sampling in primary and secondary engineering areas.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the program
• Conducting facility and personnel-related assessments, certification, monitoring, sampling, and testing
• Ensuring compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards
• Providing CETA-certified personnel and transportation arrangements
• Assuming all liability risks for work performed under the contract
