The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide a mobile lithotripsy trailer and services for the Salisbury VA Health Care System. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and setting up the trailer, providing all necessary equipment and personnel, and performing lithotripsy procedures. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and must comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to the facility. The contract will be for a period of one year with options to extend for up to four additional years. • The contractor must provide a turnkey system, including a self-contained mobile medical unit, all equipment, and personnel necessary to conduct procedures. • The contractor must have experience in providing lithotripsy services and must have a quality assurance program in place. • The contractor must comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to the facility, including those related to infection control and patient safety. • The contractor must provide written certification of training compliance with the Bloodborne Pathogens Standards and must adhere to VAMC Infection Control policies and procedures. • The contractor must have a system in place for reporting and tracking patient information and must be able to provide reports on patient outcomes and procedure results.
