USNS YUKON Distilling Plants

The US Navy is seeking a contractor to provide technical services to disassemble, inspect, clean, and renew plate packs for the Freshwater Generators (distilling plants) aboard the USNS YUKON. The contractor will be required to inspect all plates, remove old gaskets, and reinstall end plates. The contractor will also need to cut gaskets for every other plate and stack the plates in a specific order. The period of performance is from 5 January 2026 to 20 January 2026. • The contractor will need to provide technical services to disassemble, inspect, clean, and renew plate packs. • The contractor will need to remove old gaskets and reinstall end plates. • The contractor will need to cut gaskets for every other plate and stack the plates in a specific order. • The contractor will need to provide a report for any conditions found unserviceable. • The contractor will need to follow specific instructions for applying gaskets and cutting gaskets.
