Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Parking Lot Sweeping Services for the Livermore Platform Scales, Eastbound and Westbound. The scope of work includes sweeping the parking lots and maintaining the facility. The contract term is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2029. The bid package must be received by the Department of California Highway Patrol, Business Services Section, Contract Services Unit, no later than January 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
• The bid must address all of the services described in the Scope of Work.
• The bidder must certify that it possesses the required qualification requirements, including a valid city or local business license and driver license.
• The bidder must be registered with the DIR pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773, and 1773.1.
• The bidder must have a past record of sound business integrity and history of being responsive to past contractual obligations.
• The successful bidder must supply proof of liability insurance that meets the requirements in Exhibit E, entitled “Insurance Requirements”.
