Description
The City of New Rochelle is seeking qualified auto body repair providers for non-exclusive repairs to City vehicles. The repair facility must be located in Westchester County and within five miles of City Hall or the New Rochelle Police Headquarters. The contract will be awarded for a term of one year with an option to renew for an additional three years. The City reserves the right to assign vehicles to any contractor at its discretion, depending on the nature and extent of the specialized or proprietary work required.
• The contractor must provide car and truck body repairs, major collision repairs, and other services as needed.
• The contractor must have a complete body shop with qualified and experienced personnel, paint booth, and automotive frame and straightening machines.
• The contractor must be able to perform front/rear wheel alignment, mechanical repairs, glasswork, and air conditioning service.
• The contractor must be able to keep City vehicles in a locked facility, alarmed or operated on a 24-hr. basis.
