Description

This solicitation calls for the production of 1,000 specialist “flip‑book” packages for the U.S. Navy. The government will furnish synthetic printable plastic‑film (JCP O90) that must be offset‑printed in a 4‑color process with a minimum 175‑line screen, coated with a dull aqueous finish, then bound with black metal‑wire coil, Mylar protective sheets, die‑cut tabs, and rounded corners. All work must meet GPO Quality Level 2 standards, include pre‑production samples, electronic proofs, and strict packaging and shipping documentation, with final delivery required by early June. • Offset printing only – digital methods are not acceptable. • Use of specialty synthetic paper (JCP O90) and wire‑O coil binding with Mylar covers. • Mandatory QA inspections (General I, Special S‑2) and pre‑production sample approval within 5 workdays. • Tight schedule: material pickup May 8, quote deadline June 5, final shipment by June 4. • Delivery of 1,000 units (including 50 “Blue‑Label” copies) to Alexandria, VA with traceable carrier and required GPO forms.

Budget estimate

$30,000 – $50,000

Based on industry pricing for specialty synthetic‑paper flip‑books (approx. $30‑$50 per unit for offset printing, coating, wire‑O binding, and packaging), the total contract value is likely between $30,000 and $50,000. Additional costs for pre‑production samples, proofs, and compliance paperwork are borne by the contractor and are modest relative to the overall spend, keeping the estimate within that range.
