Description
The City of Asheville is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a turnkey replacement of dump‑bed assemblies on two of its 2017 Freightliner M2 trucks. The scope includes supplying brand‑new Tebco TCM‑Series beds, complete hydraulic and electrical systems, accessories, installation, transport, warranty, and post‑installation inspection. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and is a sealed‑bid, competitive solicitation.
• Supply and install two new dump‑bed assemblies with full hydraulic (PTO, HYVA hoist, valves) and electrical (lighting, camera, backup alarm) packages.
• Provide all required structural components (AR‑500 steel, ladders, tarp box, platform, vibrators, grease bank, paint finish) and handle transport to/from the city fleet shop.
• Deliver complete warranty, inspection, and performance testing; all costs must be included in the unit price with no separate delivery charge.
