Roof Repairs at Modesto Police Department

The City of Modesto is seeking bids for roof repairs at the Modesto Police Department. The scope of work includes removing debris, sealing roof penetrations, ensuring proper roof drain function, cleaning and sealing rain gutters, trimming trees, and repairing damaged roof areas. The project involves four locations within the police department. Bidders must provide proof of insurance, licenses, and certifications. The city reserves the right to decline any bid and may select the bid that best suits its needs. • Remove all debris from the roof • Seal all roof penetrations, including roof drains and overflows, air conditioning units, and ventilators • Ensure all roof drains are functioning properly and are free of clogs • Clean and seal all second-story rain gutters around the perimeter of the building • Trim trees away from the roof • Repair any damaged roof areas discovered during cleaning • Replace complete sheet metal vent jacks, including boiler chimney cap and domestic hot water chimney cap • Remove moss buildup from the roof • Remove and reseal approximately 50 linear feet of sheet metal cap on the west side of the building • Abandon two existing roof drains and properly seal them • Cut out brick at two locations on the side of the building and install new sheet metal scuppers and downspouts
