Colorado Avenue – CSO053 SPP 337 Modification

Kandey Company, Inc. is requesting NYS certified MWBE subcontractor and supplier participation for the Colorado Avenue – CSO053 SPP 337 Modification project in Erie County, NY for all scopes detailed in the contract documents. Description: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:1. Extension of SPP 337 Diversion Chamber along the south and east sides of the existing SPP.2. Installation of a new dropshaft to the Scajaquada Tunnel, including energy dissipation insert, and connection to the existing dropshaft and stub pipe to the Scajaquada Tunnel.3. Installation of new 42-inch diameter piping from the dropshaft to the existing SPP 337 dropshaft.4. Modification of the existing SPP337 interceptor chamber to connect to the proposed SPP 337 Diversion Chamber.5. Conversion of existing dropshaft to the Scajaquada Tunnel into a new air vent shaft.6. Installation of temporary access road to facilitate entry to the existing industrial site adjacent to the Work area.7. Restoration of work zone area, including landscaping, paving, curb replacement, sidewalk replacement as shown and specified. C. The Work further includes:1. Furnishing labor, material, superintendence, power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, services and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work2. Maintaining the Work area and site in a clean and acceptable manner3. Protection of finishing and unfinished Work4. Furnishing proper equipment and machinery, of a sufficient capacity, to facilitate Work and to handle issues normally encountered in Work of this character.5. Furnishing, installing and protecting necessary supports, anchor and attachment bolts, and other appurtenances needed for the installation of the Work.6. Control of local traffic during construction.The Work is located in the City of Buffalo, in Erie County, New York at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Scajaquada Street.
