Oil Tank Removal Project

The Oil Tank Removal Project involves the removal of four aboveground storage tanks with residual No. 6 fuel oil, abatement of asbestos-containing materials, demolition of the tanks and associated piping and pump house, and restoration of the project area. The project is being managed by Winthrop University's Facilities Management department. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary resources, including materials, supplies, equipment, labor, and supervision. • The project includes cleaning of four aboveground storage tanks with residual No. 6 fuel oil • Abatement of materials identified as asbestos-containing materials • Demolition of the aboveground storage tanks with associated piping and pump house • Restoration of the project area to the elevations or grades requested by Winthrop University
