Description
The Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation (IRS‑CI) is seeking a total of 300 ballistic shields (Level III NIJ‑rated) to protect Special Agents during high‑risk law‑enforcement operations. The award will be a Firm‑Fixed‑Price, Total Small Business Set‑Aside contract with a base year and four one‑year option periods. Each period requires delivery of 60 shields within 60 calendar days of award. Technical acceptability is evaluated on a pass/fail basis; award will be made to the lowest‑priced technically acceptable small‑business vendor. The solicitation uses a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation and requires extensive documentation of ballistic performance, AS9100 certification, liability insurance, and optional accessories.
