The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors for the procurement of Miniature Uninterruptible Power Supplies (mUPS). The mUPS are required to provide short-term backup for sensitive loads in the National Airspace System (NAS) facilities. The scope of work includes providing UPS's that meet specific requirements, such as single-phase, capacitor-based, and online or offline configurations, with varying VA and kVA ratings. The vendors must provide equipment specification sheets, delivery lead times, and standard manufacturer warranties. The FAA is seeking information to develop the source list for this requirement and to make acquisition planning decisions.
• The mUPS must be able to withstand dusty conditions and temperatures over 110 degrees.
• The units must have a minimum runtime of fifteen (15) seconds at 192 Watts.
• Some units must be capable of providing power for greater than 4 hours.
• The vendors must follow shipping and packaging guidelines explained in AJW-LWI-CF0077 (Provision 61).
• The delivery address is Operating Stock, 6500 S MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73169 or a specified address on the Delivery Order.
