Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a single‑prime contractor to execute a comprehensive streetscape renovation along Dawson and Wooster Streets (US 17/74/76) from 3rd to 17th Streets. The scope includes milling and resurfacing of existing pavement, replacement of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, installation of ADA‑compliant curb ramps, drainage improvements, traffic‑signal upgrades, utility coordination, landscaping, and all associated traffic‑control and erosion‑control measures. The contractor must hold a valid NC contractor’s license, provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price, meet a 14 % MBE/WBE subcontracting goal, and adhere to a 365‑day completion schedule with liquidated damages of $530 per day for delays.
