Description
The Suwannee River Water Management District is seeking bids for the lease of six access sites along the Suwannee River for commercial vendor shuttle drop off/pick up operations for recreational paddlers. The lease will be for a period of one year, with the option for renewal. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through DemandStar, and the minimum acceptable bid is $100 per site per year. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
• The lease is for six access sites located on five tracts of land within Suwannee and Hamilton Counties.
• The sites are located at Suwannee Springs Park, Mattair Springs Tract, Woods Ferry Tract, Blue Sink Tract, and Swift Creek Tract.
• Bidders must be bonded, licensed, and insured.
• The district encourages participation by minority business enterprises and veteran-owned businesses.
• The selected bidder will be required to provide certificates of insurance and represent that they have established a drug-free workplace.
