Description
The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs/Office of Kentucky Veterans Centers is seeking a vendor to provide temporary nursing services, including RN, LPN, CMA, and CNA, to the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center. The center is a 285-bed long-term care facility located in Wilmore, Kentucky. The vendor will provide emergency staffing to meet the needs of residents. The contract will be awarded based on a comprehensive evaluation of proposals, considering technical, cost, and oral presentation factors. Key responsibilities of the vendor will include providing nursing care, administering medications, and participating in treatment team meetings.
• Provide emergency temporary nursing services to the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center
• Meet the staffing needs of the center on an as-needed basis
• Provide RN, LPN, CMA, and CNA services
• Participate in treatment team meetings and provide input on resident care
• Administer medications and perform other nursing duties as required
