Request for Qualifications / Abbott's Creek Gravity Outfall

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities (WSFCU) is seeking engineering firms to replace and upsize approximately 5,700 LF of 12-inch gravity sewer to 18-inch, and 6,000 LF of 15-inch gravity sewer to 21-inch, along the existing alignment of Abbotts Creek. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing all design documents required for permitting, easement acquisition, bidding, and construction. The firm may provide construction administration services for the project, but this is to be determined at a later date. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement and upsizing of gravity sewer lines • Crossing of Interstate 40, Old Salem Road, Shields Road, and Bridgeport Drive • Crossing of Abbotts Creek • Preparation of design documents for permitting, easement acquisition, bidding, and construction • Potential construction administration services
