Central Alabama Water is seeking a qualified supplier to provide 1‑inch flare‑to‑compression (grip‑nut) adapters for its water distribution system. The adapters must meet AWWA C800, ASTM B62/B584, and NSF/ANSI 61‑G low‑lead specifications, be fully assembled, and delivered FOB destination to the agency’s central warehouse. The contract is a one‑year firm‑price agreement with an estimated annual quantity of 1,200 units, and may be extended for up to two additional one‑year periods or converted to month‑to‑month terms. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, but CAW reserves broad rights to split, cancel, or rebid the solicitation.
