Port Authority of Allegheny County (PRT) is seeking a vendor to provide co‑location services for its primary server, networking, and storage equipment. The contractor must supply a secure, Tier‑III/TIA‑942‑Rated‑3 data‑center space within 15 mi of PRT headquarters, deliver triple‑redundant internet connectivity (minimum 3 Gb/s), handle equipment relocation from the current H5 Data Center, and provide 24/365 remote‑hand support and ongoing maintenance. The contract is a five‑year base term with two optional one‑year extensions, and the solicitation includes strict DB/DBE participation requirements, extensive security and compliance provisions (SOC 2 Type II, PCI‑DSS, PA nondiscrimination), and a liquidated‑damage clause of $680 per day for missed migration milestones.
• Provide three dedicated 42‑U racks with N+1 UPS, redundant A/B power feeds, and HVAC meeting 18‑27 °C / 40‑60 % humidity.
• Supply triple‑redundant internet service (≥ 3 Gb/s) and static IPv4 blocks (/27 and /29).
• Relocate existing equipment, complete turn‑up, and achieve full operational status within 120 calendar days of Notice‑to‑Proceed.
• Meet all PA Diverse Business (DB) participation requirements and submit detailed monthly progress reports.
