Description
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is seeking a contractor to perform roadway excavation and compaction services in support of the future construction of two left turn lanes in Cannon County. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material and perform all services necessary to complete the tasks outlined in the specifications. The project must be completed and receive final TDOT approval on or before March 1, 2026.
• The contractor will be responsible for asphalt removal and preparation, subgrade and base preparation, grading, and site restoration.
• The contractor must ensure that all materials incorporated into the final product are sourced from the State of Tennessee, Department of Transportation's Qualified Producer list and/or listed on the Department of Transportation's Qualified Products List.
• The contractor must coordinate with TDOT's designated project representative and comply with the time restrictions outlined in the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
