This opportunity involves the design‑build installation of new beam guardrails, transitions, terminals, and associated site work on Bridge #28173‑D located on 8th Avenue South at Horn Creek, Pierce County, Washington. The scope includes removal of existing guardrails, placement of various types of beam guardrail (Types 10, 31, transitions, buried terminals, reflectors), temporary traffic control, erosion control, utility coordination, and post‑construction cleanup. The project references standard WSDOT guardrail specifications and includes detailed quantities for linear footage, lump‑sum items, and material estimates. • Replace and upgrade bridge guardrail system to meet current safety standards • Install multiple guardrail types (beam, transition, buried terminal) totaling roughly 250 LF of new guardrail • Provide temporary traffic control, signage, and erosion control measures • Coordinate with utilities (cable, telephone, power) and perform site cleanup • All work to be performed under the supervision of licensed professional engineers.
