J--Notice of Intent to Sole Source for service contract agreement for the NETL-own

The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Tescan USA Inc. for a service contract agreement for the NETL-owned Tescan DynaTOM Micro-Computed Tomography System (CT Scanner). The contract covers scheduled maintenance, which is critical for uninterrupted support of the CT scanner for several NETL research portfolios. The service agreement is for a period of one year, from 03/01/2026 to 02/28/2027. • The contract is for a yearly service agreement for the CT scanner. • Only parts obtained and installed by TESCAN factory-trained service engineers are guaranteed. • The contract is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Tescan USA Inc. • Interested parties who believe they can meet the NETL requirement must provide evidence of their capability by 02/24/2026.
