Project Development Phase for the Grangeville Blvd at BNSF Grade Separation

The City of Hanford is seeking a consultant to provide preliminary and professional engineering and design services for the Grangeville Boulevard at BNSF Underpass Grade Separation. The project includes a two-span bridge with three BNSF tracks, retaining walls, a temporary shoofly crossing, and necessary adjustments to nearby residential and commercial access points. The consultant will be responsible for providing services for the multiple overlapping phases, including project management and coordination, topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, phase 1 initial site assessment, traffic analysis, preliminary design, environmental review, and community engagement. • The project requires compliance with FRA guidelines and Caltrans standards. • The consultant must have experience with railway engineering and be licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of Business and Professions Code. • The City of Hanford reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. • The project has a duration of 24 months. • The consultant must provide a detailed project work plan, budget, and schedule, as well as monthly progress reports. • The consultant must also provide a preliminary foundation report, including a draft foundation report and LOTB drawings. • The project requires coordination with BNSF and other agencies, including the Federal Railroad Administration.
