Description
The Ventura Unified School District is seeking bids for the VHS Elevator Tower Revision project. The project involves demoing existing stucco, installing new blocking and fasteners, and re-stuccoing the 2-story elevator tower at Ventura High School. The contract time is 55 days, and the construction start date is June 5th, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on February 10th, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Bidders must be licensed contractors with a valid Class B General Building Contractor License and a C-35 Lath and Plastering Contractor or Subcontractor license.

• Bidders must submit a list of designated subcontractors as required by the Subletting and Subcontracting Fair Practices Act.
• The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
• The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class B General Building Contractor License with a C-35 Lath and Plastering Contractor or Subcontractor at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract.
