Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide on-site maintenance, inspection, testing, major service, and load bank testing for six emergency power generators and fuel quality testing and maintenance for seven underground fuel storage tanks and six day tanks. The contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, and personnel necessary to perform the services. The contract will be for a base year and four one-year option periods. The contractor shall develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with the contract requirements.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing maintenance, inspection, testing, and other services for emergency generators and fuel storage systems
* Performing annual load bank testing and major preventive maintenance service
* Conducting fuel quality analysis testing and maintenance for fuel storage tanks
* Providing advanced notification to the CO/COR prior to scheduled maintenance and service activity
* Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies
* Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct
* Ensuring the safety and health of all patients, employees, visitors, and contractor personnel at all times.
