Financial Services Software Competitive Contract

The Township of Waterford, NJ is seeking a cloud-hosted financial software solution to address various priorities, including general ledger, budgeting, appropriations, revenue, accounts payable, purchasing, and more. The contract will be awarded based on price and other factors, with a weighted evaluation of technical, managerial, and cost criteria. The selected vendor will be required to provide a comprehensive financial software solution that meets the township's needs. Key features and functionalities include general ledger, budgeting, appropriations, revenue, accounts payable, purchasing, and more. The vendor should have experience in providing similar services and should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the scope of work and related objectives. • General Ledger: use of FCOA, import of Excel sheets for general ledger postings, ability to export reports directly into Excel, automated year-end processing • Budgeting: import of Excel sheets for budget upload, online budget requests by departments, automatic upload of temporary budget based on prior year’s numbers and specified requests • Appropriations: customized levels of access, password protection for over-encumbrances • Revenue: levels of approvals for posting revenues • Accounts Payable: customized purchase order • Purchasing: requisitions can be submitted directly, attach external quotes/invoices in any digital format, department access to reports, budget and vendor information • Other features: contract tracking, generation of 1099’s, web access for property owners, automated bank payments, online payments/uploading of payments to software with auto-posting to accounts
