Description
The City of Wilmington is soliciting a single‑prime bid to completely renovate the streetscape along Dawson and Wooster Streets (US 17/74/76) from 3rd to 17th Streets. The scope includes milling and resurfacing of existing pavement, new asphalt base and surface courses, replacement of curbs, gutters, and curb ramps, installation of ADA‑compliant sidewalks, drainage upgrades, utility coordination, traffic‑signal upgrades, signage, and comprehensive landscaping and erosion‑control measures. The contractor must manage all permitting, traffic‑control plans, and must meet a 14 % subcontracting goal to certified MBE/WBE firms. The project must start within ten days of award and be completed within 365 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $530 per day for late completion.
