Construction Manager At-Risk Services (CMAR) for the Northeast Water and Wastewater Utility Improvement Project (Re-bid)

The El Paso Water (EPWater) is seeking a Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) for the Northeast Water and Wastewater Utility Improvements (Re-Bid) project. The project includes six work packages: Loma Real Storage Tank and Pump Station, Franklin 1B Storage Tank and Transmission Main, Northeast Franklin Water Transmission Main Phase 2, Northeast Franklin Water Phase 3, Borderland Expressway Phase 2 & Phase 3 – Water System Improvements, and Northeast Dyer/Railroad Force Main. The CMAR will provide preconstruction and construction services, including collaboration with the Engineer during the design phase, providing constructability and value engineering guidance, development of guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal(s), and construction of the project. Some key features of the project include: • Loma Real Storage Tank and Pump Station: a 5 million gallon Type III prestressed concrete ground storage tank and pump station • Franklin 1B Storage Tank and Transmission Main: a Type III prestressed concrete ground storage tank with a water storage volume of 3 million gallons • Northeast Franklin Water Transmission Main Phase 2: approximately 22,800 linear feet of 24-inch diameter DIP water transmission main • Northeast Franklin Water Phase 3: approximately 9,000 linear feet of 24-inch diameter water line • Borderland Expressway Phase 2 & Phase 3 – Water System Improvements: construction and relocation of various water, well water, and reclaimed water conveyance systems • Northeast Dyer/Railroad Force Main: a new 20-inch diameter force main from the Northeast Dyer Lift Station to the Fred Hervey Water Reclamation Plant The CMAR will be responsible for managing the construction process, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and providing regular progress reports to EPWater.
