The San Antonio Water System Purchasing Department is soliciting bids for the removal and installation of an Automatic Transfer Switch, including all electrical work, programming the controller, and testing the Automatic Transfer Switch after installation. The scope of work includes verifying that the generator starts when the ATS transfers to the emergency position, cools down after transferring to normal utility power, and shuts down. A pre-bid site visit will be held on May 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the 10255 Braun, San Antonio, TX, 78023, but it is not mandatory. Bidders are encouraged to prepare and submit their questions in writing as soon as possible. • The bid must be received electronically or by sealed bid in the Purchasing Office by the specified date and time. • The bid must include the bid number, bid name, closing date, and company name clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. • The period of acceptance of this bid will be 90 calendar days after the bid opening date. • The San Antonio Water System Purchasing Department is willing to assist any bidder(s) in the interpretation of bid provisions or explanation of how bid forms are to be completed.
