Tunbridge Flint Covered Bridge Repair

The Town of Tunbridge is seeking proposals for the repair of the historic Flint Covered Bridge. The project involves repairing the bridge based on specifications in the attached Contract Plans and Timber Coatings Special Provisions. The contractor will be required to submit finished dimensions for the siding and fabrication shop drawings for the steel-backed timber railing. The chosen contractor will work under the direction of the Road Foreman and will be paid as a lump sum for work satisfactorily completed. • The bridge is located on Bicknell Hill Road in Tunbridge, Vermont. • Proposals should be prepared with unit prices per item listed in the Contract Plans. • The contractor will be required to supply the Town with a Certificate of Insurance showing liability coverage of at least $1,000,000. • The contractor may be required to provide references and demonstrate successful completion of similar work.
