The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide and install ceiling-mounted lights in Operating Room 2. The project includes removing the existing equipment boom, relocating medical gas connections to the new anesthesia boom, and installing new integration systems. The selected vendor will be responsible for de-installing and removing existing equipment, setting up and maintaining infection control barriers, and providing a single point of contact for service. The vendor must also ensure that the new equipment matches the look and feel of equipment in neighboring rooms to reduce staff retraining and support day-to-day workflow.
• The project requires the installation of surgical lighting systems with 60,000 lux in all spot sizes, color temperature changes, and a 4K in-light camera.
• The vendor must provide a full integration system with 40+ ports, device control for surgical lights, camera box, insufflator, light source, and in-light camera.
• The project includes the installation of wall-mounted video interface plates at strategic locations within the OR to support optimal workflow for both the DaVinci Robotic System and minimally invasive surgery (MIS) video carts.
• The vendor must comply with NFPA 99 Health care Facilities Code and ensure that the quality of the work is that of a typical commercial or hospital environment.
