Description
The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking bids for the demolition of the Physical Education Building, which includes the removal of the concrete structure, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and other site features. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract and provide a payment bond and performance bond. The project is expected to take place in October and November 2026.
• The project includes the demolition and removal of the Physical Education Building and its associated features.
• The contractor will be responsible for protecting or removing designated trees, signage, handrails, fencing, and sidewalks.
• The site will be graded to a level condition suitable for future development or landscaping.
• The contractor will be required to provide a subcontracting plan and make a good faith effort to utilize certified VetHUB/HUB vendors.
• The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the University, considering factors such as price, reputation, quality, and past performance.
