Traffic Markings DPW 04-26

The Town of Amherst, New Hampshire, is soliciting bids for a contract to re-paint traffic markings at various locations in Amherst. The bid requires unit pricing for the following: 1. Re-painting crosswalks (approximately 45) 2. Re-painting yield lines (shark teeth) (approximately 26 sets of 3) 3. Re-painting stop bars 4. Re-painting arrows (approximately 20) 5. Re-painting "STOP" markings (approximately 4) 6. Re-painting "ONLY" markings (approximately 5) 7. Re-painting railroad crossing markings (approximately 6) 8. Re-painting "SLOW" markings (approximately 2) The bid documents can be obtained from the Town of Amherst's website, and bids will be received until 11:00 AM on April 30, 2026. The bid will be awarded by the Board of Selectmen on May 11, 2026. The contractor will be required to complete the work by June 30, 2026. The contract will be based on unit pricing per each item, and the owner will pay the contractor for actual quantities of work performed. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and services to perform the work. The bid proposal form requires the contractor to provide unit prices for each item, and the agreement outlines the contract documents, commencement and completion dates, and contract sum. The person signing the proposal must be authorized to sign a contract with the Town of Amherst.
