Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses to provide NMR cryoplatform replacements and other equipment. The required equipment includes two current-generation cryoplatform units, a 100-W solid-state amplifier, and a Q-band resonator. The equipment must be compatible with existing Bruker Neo 600-MHz spectrometers and cryoprobes. The NIH also requires a 600-MHz small-volume cryoprobe with 1H/13C/15N/19F/31P capability. • The cryoplatform replacements must be equivalent to or newer than Bruker Biospin CCU05. • The 100-W solid-state amplifier must be fully compatible with the existing Bruker E580 Q-band spectrometer. • The Q-band resonator must have a loop-gap design and operate at 34 GHz. • The 600-MHz cryoprobe must have a 3-mm configuration and be compatible with existing cryogenic infrastructure.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or price range. However, based on the complexity and technical requirements of the equipment, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. The final budget will depend on the vendor's proposal, the NIH's budget, and the negotiations between the parties.
