FY26 Glass Beads

The Ada County Highway District is seeking bids for the provision of Dual Chemically Coated Glass Beads for use in High-Build Water Borne Traffic Line Paint. The beads will be used for drop-on application into the Waterborne Traffic Line Paint for the 2026 striping season. The successful bidder will be required to provide approximately 420,000 pounds of glass beads, with quantities subject to change based on ACHD's needs. The beads must meet specific material specifications, including appearance, dual chemical coating, and quality control requirements. The vendor will be responsible for delivering the glass beads to ACHD's specified location, with deliveries to be made within 15 calendar days of receipt of the order. • The glass beads must be free from defects and meet the specified requirements. • The vendor must provide certification statements and testing methodology for the dual chemical coatings. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The vendor must provide a list of additions, deletions, or variations from the specifications. • The vendor must submit a complete statement of all applicable warranties.
