Culvert Maintenance 2025 (Phase II) (25-24) (Co. Engineer)

The Lancaster County Engineering Department is seeking bids for the Culvert Maintenance 2025 (Phase II) project. The project involves the installation of culvert pipes of various sizes and types under high-speed roadways, including excavation, bedding, placement of pipe and/or headwalls, backfill, compaction, and roadway grading. The project includes multiple sites, and the contractor will be required to complete the work at each site within a specified number of working days. The contractor will also be responsible for providing and installing erosion and sedimentation control measures, including permanent and temporary measures. • The project requires the contractor to have experience with similar work, including culvert installation and maintenance. • The contractor must provide a resume of similar work completed and receive positive reviews from references. • The project includes a disincentive clause, which will penalize the contractor for failing to complete the work within the allocated number of working days. • The contractor will be required to provide and install construction signs and barricades, and to maintain them throughout the duration of the project. • The project includes a requirement for the contractor to provide a revegetation plan for the project sites.
