Airport Engineering and Construction

The Heart of Georgia Regional Airport Authority (HGRAA) is seeking a qualified aviation consulting firm to provide professional planning and engineering services in connection with the Airport Capital Improvement Plan. The selected consultant will enter into a multi-year Master Agreement with the HGRAA for a period of five years. The scope of work may include project funding applications, design, bidding, construction administration, and resident inspection services. The consultant must possess a current pre-qualification by the Georgia Department of Transportation in specific area classes. Some key aspects of the job include: • Preparing project funding applications and capital improvements program documents • Performing design, bidding, and construction administration services • Assisting with DBE program overall goal updates and program administration • Constructing or rehabilitating airfield drainage systems, pavement, lighting, and NAVAIDs • Providing airport-related work as deemed necessary by the HGRAA
