The City of Palm Springs is seeking a qualified contractor to widen Ramon Road (including a bridge over the Whitewater River) and perform associated civil‑engineering work such as new curb, gutter, sidewalk, pavement, retaining walls, utility relocations, traffic‑signal upgrades, and landscaping. The contract is a lump‑sum award with numerous unit‑price items and a 442‑working‑day schedule from notice to proceed. The project is federally funded (FHWA) and requires compliance with prevailing‑wage, DBE/female‑ownership goals, extensive bonding, insurance, and environmental permits.
