Request for Bid Proposals for New Modular Home

The Town of Lucama is seeking bid proposals for the provision and installation of one new modular home built to the state building code. The modular home should have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a total area of 28' wide x 56' deep, and include features such as energy-efficient appliances, central heating and air conditioning, and a full front covered porch. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, general liability and builder's risk insurance, tax and title, permits, profit, and overhead. The project is funded by a federal 2019 CDBG-NR grant, and all federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract. The key features of the project include: • Energy Star Home with all energy star components from the manufacturer • Built to state building code for modular unit with modular stamp • Vinyl sided with OSB exterior sheathing and shingle roof • Unfurnished home with stainless steel sink and electric range • Central heating and air conditioning with electric heat pump • Full front covered porch with vinyl railings, pickets, and posts • Brick steps with vinyl handrails, pickets, and posts at front entrance The Town of Lucama encourages small, minority, and/or women-owned businesses, as well as Section 3 businesses, to submit bids.
