Description
The City of Dalton is seeking bids for a pull-behind rotary turf mower for the Nob North Golf Course. The mower must be capable of efficiently maintaining golf course roughs with varied terrain and be compatible with a standard 35 hp or greater turf tractor. The unit must provide superior cut quality, efficient operation, and low maintenance. The bid specifications include a list of requirements such as cutting width, cutting height, weight, and other features. Bidders must reply to the specifications as exact, no, or exceed per item listed and state any deviations from the specifications.
• The mower must have a cutting width of 10’ 7” and a cutting height of 3/8” – 4”.
• The weight of the mower must be less than 3000lbs.
• The mower must have a multi-lift system and drive protect, anti-bounce replaceable wear skids, and sealed spindles with no greasing required.
• The bidder must provide current published literature for the chassis and body with the bid.
• The delivery of the complete package must be anticipated and stated in the bid.
