Mini-Float Switches for Residential Low Pressure Sewer Grinder Pump Systems

The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified proposer to provide Mini-Float Switches for Residential Low Pressure Sewer Grinder Pump Systems. The contract term is for three years, with two optional one-year extensions. The City is expecting to purchase approximately 10,000 float switches annually. The switches must meet specific specifications, including being mercury-activated, narrow-angle, and UL listed for use in non-potable water and sewage. • The switches must have a flexible 18-gauge 30-foot cable and be weather and water-resistant. • The float size must be 2 7/8-inch diameter x 4 1/2-inch long, with a high impact and corrosion-resistant polypropylene housing. • The switches must have a minimum 2-year limited warranty, and the contractor is responsible for all shipping charges related to warranty claims. • The delivery location is the Utility Warehouse, and delivery times are limited to between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. • The number of days for delivery after receipt of order is 5 calendar days.
