Modular Floating Platforms

The City of Lake Elsinore is seeking proposals to design, fabricate, and deliver two modular floating work platforms that will house 20‑foot containerized nanobubble treatment systems for Phase 3 of its water‑quality program. The vendor must provide a complete marine/structural engineering package, including buoyancy and stability analysis, spud‑handling systems, intake‑lifting winches, and all necessary hardware to support long‑term freshwater service. The platforms must be modular, crane‑loadable, and able to be assembled on‑site, with a painted finish in the City’s standard blue. • Two floating platforms (~40 ft × 60 ft each) built from modular barge sections to accommodate standard 20‑ft containers and associated equipment. • Full engineering deliverables: buoyancy, stability, spud‑well design, deck reinforcement, power‑cable routing, and detailed fabrication drawings. • Required subsystems: winch/hoist assemblies for spud handling and intake screen lifting, with safety and maintenance documentation.
