Small Business Transportation Resource Center - West Central Region

The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is seeking applications from eligible organizations to establish a Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC) in the West Central Region. The SBTRC will provide business training, technical assistance, and information to small businesses in the transportation industry. The selected organization will receive a cooperative agreement award of up to $152,250 per year for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional years. The organization will be responsible for providing outreach and technical assistance to small businesses, developing a database of regional small businesses, and participating in regional and national conferences and seminars. Some key responsibilities of the SBTRC include: * Assessing the training and technical assistance needs of small businesses in the region * Providing business counseling and technical assistance to small businesses * Developing a database of regional small businesses * Participating in regional and national conferences and seminars * Providing outreach and technical assistance to small businesses * Collaborating with agencies such as State, Regional, and Local Transportation Government Agencies, SBA, U.S. Department of Commerce's MBDCs, SCORE, PTACs, and SBDCs
