Fire Sprinkler Modification and Halon System Removal

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a fire protection contractor to perform a fire sprinkler modification and halon system removal in two separate office areas. The project includes the installation of approximately 34 chrome pendants, removal of the existing halon system, and obtaining necessary permits. The vendor must have at least 2 years of experience in providing fire protection services and be able to obtain the minimum insurance requirements. The project must be completed within 6 months of contract execution. Key responsibilities include providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and documentation necessary to perform the services, as well as obtaining necessary permits and performing hydraulic testing. • The project requires the installation of approximately 34 chrome pendants in two separate office areas. • The existing halon system must be removed, including the 344lbs halon tank and 6 discharge nozzles. • The vendor must obtain necessary permits from the AHJ and complete the project in a timely and workmanlike manner. • The vendor must provide at least a 2-year warranty for parts and workmanship. • The vendor must provide a single point of contact, a dedicated account manager, to administer the agreement.
